Tableau Developer

Responsibilities

• Manage the project within the guidance of the IT Department Management
• Develops documentation which is crystal clear and meets the business needs of the Department.
• Coordinate collaboration with external programming teams to deliver software on time and within budget.
• Provide feedback and technical guidance to project managers on issues of critical importance to achieving business objectives.
• Effectively acquire and maintain professional rapport and mutual respect with management, stakeholders, and team members.

Required Skills

• Strong foundation in SQL, particularly Business Intelligence and Analytics solutions.
• Should have expertise in Database performance enhancement .
• Nice to have AWS cloud i.e. Python, PySpark, S3, Lambda, Glue, Athena, Kinesis, RDS, Aurora, EventBridge, SQS, ECS/Batch.
• Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Knowledge of formal database architecture and design.

Required Experience

• 5+ years experience in Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence space.
• Experience in end-to-end implementation of Business Intelligence (BI) projects, especially in scorecards, KPIs, reports & dashboards using Tableau.
• Should have experience in debugging SQL Functions, stored procedures.
• Experience with reporting design and functionality of Tableau and Micro strategy databases.
• Experience with Hadoop, SQL, and DB2 systems etc.
• Experience in Data molding and database structure.
• Nice to have Snowflake, PostgreSQL experience.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field.
