Tableau Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop business intelligence applications for data analysis optimized for the best performance and scalability requirements using Tableau and troubleshoot as needed
• Address and resolve issues related to MicroStrategy to Tableau migration
• Consult with users, clients, and other technology groups on issues, and recommend programming solutions, install, and support customer exposure systems
• Identify migration issues, analyze information, and make evaluative judgements to recommend and implement solutions.

Required Skills

• Strong leadership, interpersonal, influencing, collaboration and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in developing technical specifications, presentations, training materials, user
  documentation and technical documentation.
• Demonstrated success with overseeing software development lifecycle for enterprise-wide BI
  projects and ability to assess and solve complex technical problems.
• Ability to write complex SQL queries and develop.
• Self-motivated and works independently and as part of a team. Able to learn effectively and
  meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands.
• Demonstrated complex problem- solving skills.

Required Experience

• 7+ years of experience within design and development on BI reporting and analytics.
• 3+ years of experience as a Tableau developer.
• Experience in BI tool migration projects, specifically MicroStrategy to Tableau mandatory.
• Strong Experience in MicroStrategy Report Services.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field.
