Mandatory Skills

Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server : Strong proficiency in creating and managing dashboards, reports, and visualizations. Experience in publishing and scheduling reports on Tableau Server.
SQL and Data Manipulation : Proficient in writing complex SQL queries, including joins, subqueries, and window functions. Experience in data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
Snowflake : Hands-on experience with Snowflake for data warehousing and analytics. Ability to integrate Snowflake with other data sources and tools.
Data Warehousing and ETL Processes : Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, including star and snowflake schemas, and ETL processes. Experience in designing and implementing ETL workflows.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills : Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Good To Have

Python; Statistics : Basic knowledge of Python for data analysis and automation. Understanding of statistical analysis and data modeling techniques.
Programming Languages : Experience with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis and visualization.

Responsibilities

Visualization Creation : Develop impactful visualizations using Tableau to support business decision-making. Create dashboards, reports, and scorecards that provide insights into key performance indicators (KPIs).
Advanced SQL Usage : Utilize advanced SQL techniques, including joins, window functions, and custom SQL queries, to extract and manipulate data from various databases.
Data Integration : Work with different databases, including SQL Server, Oracle, and Snowflake, to blend data and create relationships in Tableau. Ensure data accuracy and consistency across sources.
Custom SQL Development : Write custom SQL queries to pull specific data from databases as required by business needs. Optimize queries for performance and efficiency.
Troubleshooting and Debugging : Identify and resolve issues related to data controls, report generation, and dashboard performance. Provide support for Tableau Server administration tasks.
Business Requirement Translation : Convert business requirements into workable data models and visualizations. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver solutions that meet their expectations.
Best Practices Implementation : Define and implement best practices for Tableau report development, including data visualization standards, performance optimization, and user experience enhancement.
Ad-Hoc Analysis : Perform ad-hoc analysis and generate reports as requested by business users. Provide timely and accurate insights to support decision-making.
Training and Support : Provide training and support to end-users on Tableau functionalities and best practices. Assist users in creating their own reports and dashboards.
Continuous Learning : Stay updated with the latest Tableau features, data visualization trends, and industry best practices. Continuously improve skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality solutions.
