Responsibilities

  • Contribute to and support the organizations Business Intelligence strategy.
  • Development and deployment of Tableau.
  • Manage technical build outs for critical margin services like workflows, Straight Through processing & collateral valuations.
  • Design, develop and maintain complex Tableau reports for scalability, manageability, extensibility, performance and re-use.
  • Manage technical delivery related to Repo, Collateral & Margin platforms for Business initiatives and Front to Back Programs.
  • Determine the best implementation that will meet the design of the architect.
  • Set and adheres to software coding and style guides to ensure consistency.
  • Resolve support tickets related to Tableau reports.
  • Design, develop and support interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau.

Required Skills

  • Good conceptual knowledge and working experience on report/dashboard creation, creating report specifications, integration test planning & testing, unit test planning & testing, UAT & implementation support.
  • Database development – procedures, packages & complex SQL queries (Oracle, Sybase, SQL server).
  • Development background in .NET, Java, Python (ML/NLP) and JavaScript technology stacks.
  • Advanced Tableau development skills required.
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills is required.
  • Delivery focused with proven ability to work under aggressive deadlines.
  • Subject matter expertise with Repo Trading & Margin Services functions.

Required Experience

  • Extensive hands-on development experience with both Tableau desktop and Tableau server.
  • Prior experience in reports automation using Tableau Server.
  • Tableau server maintenance experience, including server upgrade, backup, troubleshooting, is required (version 2019.4 & up strongly preferred).
  • Experience in building Components, Services, application Frameworks and Automation/ Robotics.
  • Strong SQL/RDBMS experience required (Oracle preferred).
  • Development experience with reporting tools (Business objects, Crystal Reports).

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field.
