Systems Data Analyst

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to analyze, design, and implement system solutions that meet business needs and objectives

• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, test scripts and documentation

• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues and provide user support

• Evaluate and recommend system enhancements and process improvements

• Analyze and interpret data from various sources and systems

• Develop and maintain data pipelines, dashboards, and reports

• Identify and troubleshoot data quality issues and data gaps

• Provide insights and recommendations to support business decisions and objectives

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver solutions

Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field, -AND- Five (5) years of progressively responsible, full-time, paid experience in a centralized Information Technology organization, performing information systems analysis and design, application development, network administration or operating systems analysis

• Expert proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and analysis is required

• Strong expertise in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau is preferred

• Experience with mainframe software tools, such as TSO, JCL, CICS, DB2, IMS, or MQ is preferred

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills is required

• Knowledge of business processes and best practices in various domains is required

• Attention to detail and accuracy is required

• Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL, and cloud platforms such as Azure is preferred
