Systems Analyst

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is seeking one (1) Systems Analyst 3 with expertise in SAS Viya administration and development. This role involves managing a SAS Viya SaaS instance, supporting a diverse user base, and ensuring data security through proper permissions management.

Responsibilities:
Administer SAS Viya (On-Premise or Online)
Set up and maintain user permissions for data security
Provide support and troubleshooting for SAS Viya users
Manage data manipulation, cleaning, and integration tasks
Collaborate with business users and technical teams
12+ years of experience in SAS Viya Administration or Development (both preferred).
8+ years of expertise in data management and database concepts.
8+ years of proficiency in data manipulation and cleaning techniques.
8+ years of ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to SAS Viya (On-Premise/Online).
7+ years of experience in user administration and permissions management.
5+ years of hands-on experience as a SAS Viya (On-Premise/Online) administrator.
4+ years of experience in SAS Viya development.
3+ year of strong communication and collaboration skills for effective interaction with business users
