- About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Systems Admin to join our Information Technology team.
- The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in IT Technical support, with a strong background in working within an Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment.
- This role involves providing technical support to users with end user computing, hardware and software, maintaining and supporting AWS servers, and managing IT helpdesk functions
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to users for hardware, software, and application issues.
- Manage and maintain AWS servers, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Handle IT helpdesk functions, including responding to user requests and resolving IT-related issues.
- Monitor and troubleshoot server issues in the AWS environment.
- Assist in the deployment and management of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, KMS, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.
- Develop and maintain scripts and programs for AWS management using languages suchas Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement new technologies and improve existing systems.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to IT and data security.
Required Skills and Experience:
- years of experience in IT support, handling technical issues related to hardware, software, and applications.
- Proven experience working in an AWS environment where servers are hosted.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with AWS services, including:
- EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud)
- S3 (Simple Storage Service)

- CloudFormation
- CloudWatch
- Scripting and programming for AWS (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- AWS Support services
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with IT helpdesk functions and user support.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
