Responsibilities:
Lead technical design and architectural direction across multiple systems and product domains
Develop and implement solutions using cloud-native platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
Provide mentorship to engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and best practices
Collaborate with product, design, and infrastructure teams in an Agile development environment
Define system interfaces, subsystems, and end-to-end solution architecture
Optimize application performance and scalability, ensuring a high-quality user experience
Establish and enforce architectural standards, patterns, and frameworks
Conduct code reviews and manage development of scalable software applications
Evaluate emerging technologies and propose implementation strategies
Align system architecture with business goals, non-functional requirements (NFRs), and cost/benefit analyses
Contribute to the Continuous Delivery Pipeline with CI/CD and DevOps practices
Produce technical documentation, diagrams, and presentation artifacts to support internal stakeholders
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
10+ years of software architecture and system design experience
5+ years leading technical teams in an Agile environment
Deep expertise in APIs, microservices, containers, messaging systems, and cloud architectures
Strong understanding of application performance tuning and scalability strategies
Experience with container management (e.g., AKS, GKE, OpenShift), DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Terraform), and API management solutions (e.g., Apigee, Kong)
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ability to lead complex initiatives with minimal oversight
Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in large enterprise settings with automation, mobile, data, and integration technologies
7+ years in a leadership capacity guiding cross-functional technology teams
Familiarity with CMS, search platforms, and mobile-first design principles
Passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and lifelong learning
