Sybase and Mainframe Developer

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Sybase databases ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Develop and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, and CICS.
• Integrate data from various sources to ensure consistency and reliability.
• Optimize database and mainframe application performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Sybase databases and mainframe applications.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in Sybase database and mainframe application development.
• Proficiency in Sybase ASE/IQ, COBOL, JCL, CICS, and SQL.
• Knowledge of programming languages like Java and Python is a plus.

Preferred Skills:
Experience with database management systems (Oracle, SQL Server), Agile methodologies, and performance tuning techniques.
