Summary:
The main function of a Supply Chain Analyst is to define, build, manage, and measure global asset management. A typical Supply Chain Analyst may be responsible for buying goods and services, as well as analyzing the performance of suppliers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Review and potentially optimize suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, and other relevant factors.
- Own the end-to-end asset management process and systems globally.
- Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products.
- Drive automation on an aggressive timeline with a team of world-class engineers and designers.
- Develop and maintain a well-coordinated internal relationship with key decision-makers and with the wider enterprise organization.
- Approve purchases of the highest quality products at the lowest possible price and in the correct amounts.
- Approve purchase orders, solicit bid proposals, and review requisitions for goods and services.
- Instruct staff on how to resolve problems related to undelivered goods.
- Confer with staff, users, and vendors to discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services and determine corrective action.
Skills:

- Ability to analyze financial reports, price proposals, and other technical data.
- Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information.

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

- General supply chain knowledge.
