Sterling OMS Developer

Responsibilities

• Capable of analyzing requirements and develop software as per project defined software process.
• Business discussions / meetings to understand their need / intend of the proposed work request.
• Estimate, develop work products and implement the business requirement.
• Understand the client requirements, Prepare the high-level design.
• Build, unit test and review code and configuration.
• May need to provide training to other employees.
• Make suggestions regarding new implementations.
• Gathering and analyzing business and technical requirement for Client Customization.

Required Skills

• Able to design and develop the business features.
• Knowledge on integration using REST API.
• Must possess working knowledge of Build and Deployment, CDT processes.
• Strong coding skills, experience BDD frameworks is a plus Good Java coding skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.
• Should have strong planning skills.

Required Experience

• 5-8 years of development and design experience in Sterling OMS.
• Strong Development experience in Sterling implementation.
• Experience in integration on cloud / Prime environment is preferred.
• Experience of developing custom code for agents, user exits, SOAP and RESTful Services.
• Working experience in Sterling COM, SOM RCP client.
• REST API testing and automation experience.
• Selenium/Appium automation experience is needed.
• Should have Agile experience.
• Experience in writing complex queries in SQL, Scripts.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field.
