Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and ship high-quality, maintainable software that meets customer and business needs.
  • Lead architecture discussions, ensuring scalable and efficient solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build modern, responsive web user interfaces.
  • Work in an Agile environment, promoting best development practices.
  • Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks (RSpec, Capybara) to ensure high test coverage.
  • Drive Continuous Delivery/Deployment and encourage rapid production releases.
  • Mentor junior engineers, provide technical guidance, and conduct peer code reviews.

Skills Required:

  • 7+ years of experience in Ruby on Rails or a comparable web application framework.
  • Strong experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
  • Expertise in front-end technologies and building responsive web applications.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks (RSpec, Capybara) and maintaining solid unit/system-level test coverage.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, communication, and collaboration.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience configuring and managing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
  • Knowledge of Docker and containerized environments.
  • Exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).
  • A curious and problem-solving mindset with a positive approach to troubleshooting.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in related field
