staff engineer (AWS – Java)

Will use Amazon Aurora to handle routine database tasks such as provisioning, patching, backup, recovery, failure detection, and repair. Also create, maintain, and evolve AWS cloud infrastructures for running applications.

All Candidates submitted need:

Migrate at least 1 app to the cloud

Oracle to AWS Arora in the cloud migration.  Aurora / Dynamo DB

These resources need to be able to build / move apps in AWS, know how to get through security,

*** not just lift and shift applications.

The goal is to migrate to all ASW cloud services. Developer native AWS.  Build out full-fledged code in AWS.

Must have strong Native AWS development experience

Strong SQS is a must!   SQS is AWS architecture (Kafka is Apache product and SQS is Amazon product.)
