Be responsible for business and functional requirements gathering, a review of existing business model, systems configurations and operating methodologies as well as understanding evolving business needs.
Design and Develop the complex ETL packages using Full/Incremental Load strategy.
Setup up the SSIS package encryption for security purpose.
Create an ETL design/Framework and implementation checks in SSIS packages.
Understand functional side of Business requirements.
Troubleshoot issues related to package debugging, performance, configuration and migration.
Design, develop and deploy ETL programs to facilitate the receipt of data from various data sources, and the loading of data into destination tables within the overall data architecture framework.
Create data load mappings, import/export methods, Incremental /Full load data from Source systems to various targets.
Required Skills
End-To-End data flow between various data sources and SSIS packages.
Knowledge of MS SSIS architecture and best practices for developments/implementations.
Should be able to analyze and optimize SQL queries and provide tuning recommendations to SSIS jobs, time/CPU consuming queries if situation arises.
Advanced level of working knowledge in SQL installation, Administering and Configuration of SSIS packages.
understanding on Star schema and Snowflake schema modelling, SCD types in the data warehousing projects under SSIS.
Must have excellent communication skills.
Required Experience
7-8 years of experience on SSIS Development.
Minimum 3-5 years experience with Oracle MS SQL Server and SQL Server Reporting Services SSRS.
Must have some .Net development experience.
Programming language experience with SQL, SSIS expressions, C# or VB.net, PowerShell and VBA.
Experience with database technologies like SQL Server, Azure SQL, Azure Synapse.
Experience in tuning/optimizing performances of SSIS load and Power shell scripts automation.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field.
