Sr.Devops Engineer

5 years as DevOps engineer and in a cloud environment 

8 years hands-on experience on DevOps practices 

Experience in an Agile software development environment and strong understanding of SDLC best practices 

Hands on experience developing and maintaining full stack solutions on Cloud (with high availability requirements) 

Understanding of enterprise application technology architecture, components, databases, networking, and infrastructure as code

Required Skills 

Strong scripting experience - Unix/Shell Scripting, Python 

Experience in Azure, AWS 

Good experience using Git 

Experience with Java/J2EE application deployment 

Advanced understanding of SaaS solutions hosted in the cloud - AWS 

Advanced understanding of containerization tools - Docker 

Expertise in build and deployment tools - Jenkins, Maven 

Expertise in configuring and scaling MongoDB 

Technical knowledge of Linux & Windows based platforms 

Advanced knowledge of logging, monitoring, configuration management, and release management 

Knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, DNS, proxies and load balancers 

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Desired Skills 

Software development skills (at least one) C/C++, Ruby, C# or Java 

Understanding of the Mobile (Android, iOS) and Web technology stack (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, REST) 

Advanced knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Chef, Puppet, Kubernetes etc. 

Expertise in Cloud Security best practices, firewalls, IPS/IDS, encryption and incident response
