- Coordinate with HQ/base service desk/Communications Focal Point (CFP) for issue resolution
- Contact the appropriate government and/or commercial agencies to resolve maintenance problems
- Ensure system backups are completed daily, weekly, and monthly
- Ensure system restores and system monitoring are being accomplished in accordance with applicable procedures and schedules
- Coordinate, document, test, validate, and deploy new technology provided by the government
- Utilize Remedy, ServiceNow or a similar Information Technology Asset Management (ITAM) tool to document, coordinate, route, resolve, and close user issues and server/services issues
- Conduct/assist with installs/configurations of the hardware and software for appropriate servers to DoD/AF specifications found in Appendix B
- Determine and mitigate Air Force Network (AFNet)/Joint Information Environment (JIE)-caused issues to AFRC missions
- Remediate vulnerabilities on assigned hardware and software
- Maintain service (Upgrades, patching to include server Operating System (OS) updates, security patches, and any other government-required patches)
- Troubleshoot service and network issues impacting the technical environment with Government personnel
- Ensure NIPR/SIPR Category (CAT) vulnerabilities for each assigned server do not exceed AFRC, AF, DISA, or DoD vulnerability thresholds; must be <2.49 vulnerabilities per each assigned server
- Server administrators shall implement AF Maintenance Tasking Orders (MTOs), Time Compliance Network Orders (TCNOs) and Cyber Control Orders (CCO)s by established deadlines with ninety-five percent (95%) compliance for MTOs; one hundred percent (100%) compliance for TCNOs and CCOs. All non-compliant MTOs will be corrected within five (5) business days
- Ensure NIPR/SIPR Category (CAT) vulnerabilities for each assigned server does not exceed AFRC, AF, DISA, or DoD vulnerability thresholds; must be <2.49 vulnerabilities per each assigned server
- Server administrators shall implement AF Maintenance Tasking Orders (MTOs), Time Compliance Network Order (TCNO)s, and Cyber Control Order (CCO)s by established deadlines with ninety-five percent (95%) compliance for MTOs; one hundred percent within five (5) business days.
- Address ACAS findings; comply with AFRC standards when addressing ACAS findings
- Provide user account maintenance and support
- Provide configuration management services for the government party system
- Comply with CCRI evaluation criteria, generate reports and documentation
- Assist with environment migration to the cloud and sustainment in the cloud
- Minimize business systems, applications, services, and systems unscheduled downtime; 99% availability for the month with the other 1% no more than seven (7) hours of downtime within the contractor’s control
- Provide configuration control documentation of system changes; on-time delivery at one hundred percent (100%) level (monthly)
- Ensure system documentation and Authority to Operate (ATO) package is completed and submitted on time
- Manage, configure, maintain, and monitor the performance of the SQL Server databases
- Ensure high availability, security, and optimal data access to the database server
- Ensure security controls meet all legal, contractual, regulatory, and business requirements and contractual agreements
Qualifications Required to Perform This Service:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 2 years of technical experience utilizing PowerShell or a government-approved command line tool
- A minimum of 5 years of technical experience with MS server administration using Microsoft Windows Server 2016 or newer
