Sr. Test Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Test Data Engineer with expertise in SQL to support testing teams by designing, managing, and optimizing test data for various environments.
The ideal candidate will work closely with QA, development, and database teams to ensure data integrity, availability, and compliance with testing requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, create, and manage test data sets for functional, integration, and performance testing.
Develop SQL queries and scripts to generate, manipulate, and validate test data.
Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security across test environments.
Collaborate with QA, development, and business teams to understand data requirements.
Implement data masking, anonymization, and subsetting techniques as needed.
Automate test data provisioning and refresh processes.
Troubleshoot database-related issues and optimize SQL queries for performance.
Maintain compliance with data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
Document test data strategies, processes, and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

4-8 years of experience in test data engineering or database testing.
Strong expertise in SQL for querying, scripting, and data manipulation.
Hands-on experience with RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server).
Knowledge of test data management tools (Delphix, Informatica TDM, etc.) is a plus.
Experience with data masking and anonymization techniques.
Understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing, and big data technologies is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments
