Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Teradata databases and ETL processes.
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.
  • Implement performance tuning strategies to enhance database efficiency.
  • Collaborate with data analysts, business teams, and IT stakeholders to understand requirements.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
  • Provide technical documentation and best practices for database management.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Teradata development.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, data warehousing concepts, and ETL tools.
  • Experience with Teradata utilities (BTEQ, FastLoad, MultiLoad, TPT).
  • Familiarity with Unix/Linux scripting.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark).
  • Knowledge of BI tools (Tableau, Power BI).
  • Exposure to cloud-based data solutions.
