Relevant: Minimum 2+ Years in Kubernetes & App Modernization

Qualification: Any Graduate

Mandatory Certifications:

CKA or CKAD (Certified Kubernetes Administrator/Developer)

VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP)

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Sr. Technical Specialist – Tanzu Support (L2) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support and manage container-based environments, enabling digital transformation through cutting-edge microservices architecture and cloud-native technologies.

Roles & Responsibilities

Manage and troubleshoot VMware Tanzu platform including orchestration, monitoring, and logging of container applications.

Design, develop, and implement platform components supporting containers and microservices.

Collaborate with stakeholders to present solutions in business and technical terms.

Conduct health checks, root cause analysis, and incident resolution.

Coordinate with VMware GSS to ensure timely resolution of issues.

Utilize tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, and Chef for container and configuration management.

Create and maintain Docker images and manage CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, and Docker Registry.

Work with Java, J2EE, Spring to support and deploy microservices.

Automate tasks and reporting using Python, Bash, or other scripting languages.

Ensure optimal use of cloud ecosystem and containerization features.

Monitor over-provisioning and maintain cloud performance standards.

Implement and enhance solutions for security, scalability, logging, and monitoring.

Engage in 24x7 support operations (rotational basis).

Collaborate with internal bank teams and external vendors.

Ensure compliance with policies and bring innovations to the platform.

 Technical Skillset Required

VMware Tanzu, Kubernetes (Mandatory)

CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Git, Artifactory, Docker Registry

Configuration Tools: Ansible, Chef

Languages: Java, Spring, J2EE, Python, Bash

Infrastructure: LDAP, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Firewall

Microservices Architecture & Deployment

Docker Image creation and management

Monitoring & Logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
