Job Description:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Specialist with over 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in building high-performance trading platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of financial systems, order lifecycle management, market making, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading end-to-end platform development from architecture design to deployment for modern, real-time, and regulated trading applications.


 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture, design, and development of scalable, secure, and compliant trading platforms.
  • Build and optimize order management systems (OMS) and high-frequency trading (HFT) components.
  • Design and implement trading strategies including arbitrage, hedging, and market-making.
  • Integrate real-time data feeds, WebSockets, and REST APIs for trade execution and price discovery.
  • Ensure platform adherence to compliance protocols such as CFTC, SEC, and KYC/AML standards.
  • Develop internal modules for audit trails, regulatory reporting, and trade transparency.
  • Oversee cloud infrastructure deployment with focus on security, observability, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across DevOps, QA, Product, and Compliance.


 

Must-Have Skills

  • Trading Platform Development: Experience building and deploying full-stack financial or trading platforms. Must have experience working with FIX Protocol for trade execution and integration with financial exchanges.
  • FIX Protocol: Hands-on experience with FIX 4.x/5.x for integrating with exchanges, brokers, and trading venues.
  • Backend Technologies: Proficiency in .NET Core, C#, Python, or Go.
  • Frontend Technologies: Solid experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Database & Caching: Deep understanding of SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
  • Cloud & DevOps: Experience with AWS or Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines.
  • Architecture Design: Microservices, event-driven systems, real-time communication protocols.
  • Security & Compliance: Knowledge of SOC 2, GDPR, 21 CFR Part 11, CFTC/SEC frameworks.
  • Testing & Quality: Familiarity with NUnit, Jasmine, Selenium, and automated testing pipelines.


 


 

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Prior experience in regulated prediction markets or commodities/forex trading systems.
  • Experience with smart contracts, blockchain integrations, or crypto/DeFi markets.
  • Exposure to market surveillance tools and risk analytics engines.


 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of hands-on development experience with enterprise-grade financial platforms.
  • Prior experience in leadership roles, mentoring junior engineers, and driving architectural decisions.
