Sr Software Engineer – Platform

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of Platform Engineering/DevOps
• Proficient in Python and Go
• Azure DevOps
• Azure Cloud
• Terraform
• Docker and Kubernetes

Nice to have:

• Experience with Health Data, benefits, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of design and architecture concepts
• Build IaC using Terraform
• Responsible for automating various processes
• Will be working as a Platform Engineer, using Python and Go
• Scripting in Powershell and Bash
• Build CI/CD pipelines using ADO

Job Description:
Look for: Software Developers (Python or Golang) with system design knowledge that have some experience with Terraform
**** they will use Terraform daily in this job, so they need to be 100% OK becoming more acquainted and learning in the role

Main responsibilities:

• Platform Engineering team
• Build platforms for other teams at Wex that they can then go build on top of
• Build infrastructure (via IaC with Terraform)
• Create Automation for day to day operations on the platform, extend platform capabilities (via APIs)
• Assist Data Engineer with integrating their pipelines
