Sr. Site Reliability Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to assist with the build and transformation of company’s cloud native technology stack. This will include all aspects of the systems development life cycle (SDLC) across software, data and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to manage platforms that require continuity on a 24x6 basis effectively. The Senior Site Reliability Engineer will partner with cloud-native application development teams with direct business alignment – empowering them to deliver quality software at high velocity, rapidly receive actionable feedback, and cultivate an environment of continuous experimentation. Additionally, the Senior SRE will create reusable components and workflows that deliver superior engineering experience. 

 The Consultant(s) requires the following skills, and background: 

 • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

 • 3+ years of experience implementing Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform or OpenTofu 

 • 3+ years of experience designing, developing, and operating applications in the cloud with an emphasis on serverless technologies (Azure preferred) 

 • 3+ years of Development experience (Python preferred) 

 • 2+ years' experience building and running Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery/Deployment infrastructure in the cloud (Gitlab preferred) 

 • Experience implementing and operating monitoring tools (Datadog preferred) 

 • Working experience with agile methodologies 

 • Familiarity of information security concepts such as authentication, authorization, and integrity 

 • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git 

 • Escalate issues and risks accordingly and help drive their resolution – providing input as needed 

 • Prepare well-structured documentation and audience appropriate messaging The Consultant(s) would also benefit from the following skills and background:
