Sr. Quality Assurance Analyst

Job Duties :

Develop testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, or usability. Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers. Identify, analyze and document problems with program function, output, online screen or content. Participate in the Requirement review meetings with Business Analysts to understand the business requirements and come up with Estimations for the Testing Effort. Test planning, test documentation, test execution, defect tracking and reporting, including follow-up and issue resolution. Execute test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures. Create, execute and monitor the Automation Test scripts in Java using the Automation Framework. Perform REST API calls to test the workflows on the forms. Prepare and Execute SQL queries to perform Database Testing. Perform Integration Testing with the Downstream Consumers. Perform Manual Test Execution where necessary. Participate in Kick-off Meetings with the Development Team to understand and discuss the scope of changes to be tested. Provide the Status on the Test execution progress on a daily basis highlighting the risks, challenges, outstanding defects to the Technical Team. Test system modifications to prepare for implementation. Monitor bug Resolution and track successes. Use JIRA for Requirement details, Test Execution and Defect Tracking. Prepare Test Summary Reports which details the Test Scope covered, Test Approach used, Test Execution performed, Defects raised, Risks if any, for every Production Release.

Minimum Requirements:

Education : Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Computer Science or another closely related field
