Sr Python developer

Role Description

This is a contract role for a Senior Python Developer. As a Senior Python Developer, you will be responsible for back-end web development, software development, and utilizing object-oriented programming (OOP) principles. Your day-to-day tasks will include programming, working with databases, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This is a hybrid role, based in Richmond, VA, with the flexibility to work remotely for some of the time.

Qualifications

Strong experience in back-end web development and software development
Proficiency in object-oriented programming (OOP) and programming languages
Experience working with databases
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or related field
Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus
Knowledge of cloud technologies and DevOps practices is a plus
