Serve as the lead project manager for a large, complex, $30B+ enterprise ERP software implementation for the Arizona Department of Revenue.
Oversee and guide cross-functional teams through the entire project lifecycle, ensuring timely, on-scope, and on-budget delivery of technical objectives.
Provide Agile coaching; promote Agile/Scrum best practices and facilitate all Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives).
Lead a team of project managers and collaborate closely with engineering, security, and operations teams for integration, data conversion, DevSecOps, and system retirement activities.
Organize and build high-performing teams, define organizational structures, and coordinate work to accomplish program objectives.
Manage third-party vendor relationships, including performance tracking, issue resolution, and ensuring contractual obligations and SLAs are met.
Maintain project tracking using Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar tools to manage user stories, bugs, epics, and releases.
Support adherence to compliance and regulatory standards (NIST, FedRAMP), embedding security and policy requirements into project execution.
Develop, maintain, and execute risk management plans; create and update comprehensive project documentation (charters, schedules, RACI, post-mortems).
Facilitate organizational change management (OCM) by communicating with stakeholders, managing resistance, and preparing users for changes.
Work independently to drive alignment between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Utilize tools such as Azure DevOps, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office in a hybrid (predominantly remote) environment.
Must be an Arizona resident and participate in in-person or video interviews as required
