Sr. Network Engineer

Job Description:

Primary Job Functions:
Continuously deliver clear, concise, timely communication to our customers to ensure confidence in our team.
Demonstrate the Company’s Core and Growth Values in the performance of all job functions.
Troubleshoot and resolve tier 3 issues impacting the company’s network systems, within the agreed MTTR objectives.
Contribute to the resolution efforts, during High or Critical Incidents and participate in root cause analysis process.
Work closely with development and operational teams, on a global basis, to ensure rapid service restoration.
Follow process and procedure standards to improve service availability and overall efficiency of systems.
Actively participate in departmental meetings, training and education. Assist with training other employees and providing backup.
Complete other assignments and special projects as requested.

Qualifications:
Advanced knowledge of analyzing existing data networks and recommend scalable and supportable solutions; BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP; Cisco Data Center architecture (Nexus 9000 and Nexus 5000).
Advanced knowledge with deploying SDWAN (Velo Cloud preferred); and supporting Cisco LAN switches and Cisco WAN routers (ISR/ASR).
Advanced knowledge of Cisco Wireless Access Points and controllers and others such as Ruckus, Aruba and Meraki.
Advanced knowledge of analysis/forensic tools, such as SolarWinds and Wireshark.
Working knowledge of scripting tools (Python / Terraform)
Experience in the design, build, deploy and maintenance of enterprise Data Center, WAN and LAN Networks; cloud technologies (Azure, GCP, AWS); Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure) preferred.
