Skills

  • Education and/ or experience typically obtained through completion of a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Science Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 5 years of direct experience in Software Engineering or related experience.
  • Proficient with Git source control and Git flow branching model.
  • Spring / Spring boot framework is required.
  • Familiarity with modern DevOps practices and writing automated tests.
  • Proficient with SQL.
  • Strong exp in APIs, RESTful service design, Kafka etc
  • Experience with Docker/ Kubernetes.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication.

Additional related education and/or work experience preferred

  • Experience with SOAP services.
  • Familiar working with common data format standards like XML, JSON, YAML, etc.
  • NoSQL experience (Redis, HBASE, AeroSpike, etc.)
  • FinTech experience is highly beneficial.
