Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Java Developer with over 10 years of experience, based in Reston, VA. The position allows for some work-from-home flexibility. The Senior Java Developer will be engaged in software development, designing and maintaining microservices, coding, and utilizing the Spring Framework. Daily tasks include collaborating with teams, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring high-quality Java-based applications.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Java programming and the Spring Framework
  • Experience in software development and creating scalable applications
  • Knowledge of developing and maintaining microservices
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus
