Sr. Full Stack API Developer (Strong AWS & API Development)

About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack API Developer with 12-15 years of experience and 5+ years of hands-on AWS experience. This role is primarily focused on API and backend development (minimal front-end work). The ideal candidate will have expertise in Java, JavaScript, Quarkus, Kubernetes, OpenShift (ROSA), and AWS. Experience handling high-volume customer-facing applications and crisis management is preferred.

Mandatory Requirements:

12+ years of Java experience
12+ years of Spring Boot / Quarkus experience
10+ years of API Development
5+ years of hands-on AWS experience (Serverless, ROSA/OpenShift, ElastiCache, Aurora, PostgreSQL)
3+ years of TypeScript / JavaScript experience
3+ years of Angular experience
3+ years of Git, CI/CD, and Code Pipeline experience
2+ years of Oracle experience
Hands-on Kubernetes & OpenShift (ROSA) experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Kafka, AWS Glue, Redshift
Expertise in high-traffic applications & crisis management
Airline industry experience is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

Develop & Optimize APIs: Build scalable, cloud-based API solutions
Cloud & Infrastructure: Manage Open Container applications on AWS/OpenShift
Automation & CI/CD: Work with Git, Jenkins, and automated deployment pipelines
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with multiple teams to drive technical success
Troubleshooting & Debugging: Solve complex production issues efficiently
