REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
• Bachelor's degree, and/or related functional area or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a developer
• 5+ years of proven success in leading programs/projects through the entire life cycle
• 7+ years of experience in Healthcare/Insurance
• Self-motivated, self-directed, team oriented, responsible, and reliable, with a positive attitude and a proactive style. Must possess the ability to work in a highly variable, virtual and matrixed environment.
• Must demonstrate experience in participating in system application design, process modeling, business value analysis and business process design and in developing and writing clear functional/technical business requirements.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to shift priorities quickly.
• Skilled in authoring technical design and specification documents
• Knowledgeable in SDLC processes, roles, responsibilities and deliverables.
• Negotiation, facilitation, and consensus building skills.
• Ability to quickly acquire and apply knowledge.
• Extremely proficient in PC based software programs including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project and Visio.
