Sr Devops Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement agile innovative infrastructure solutions/infrastructure management solutions that take advantage of technology advances that allow cost reduction, standardization and commoditization
Manage, Design, Configure and upgrade Containerized platform on cloud and on-premise solutions
Implement continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for microservice platform
Responsible for building and improving our tools for Release, Build, deployment, rollout, upgradation and monitoring to managing our systems.
Able to understand the security tools and best practices: CIS Benchmarking, OS hardening, vulnerability scanning, system auditing
Diagnose, troubleshoot problems and develop a fix for them.
Identifying root cause analysis for recurring alerts and problems and find RCA of issues.
Implement monitoring, alerting and health checks to make sure that the infrastructures are performing at optimal levels and provide reports that show uptime and status of infrastructures.
Security aspects of micro services applications based on Kubernetes and cloud foundry fundamentals, in turn matching with business requirements

Key Competencies / skill set:
Solid understanding of Linux/Unix operating system and networking principles.
Extensive experience as a Full stack DevOps
Good exposure to version controls tools like GitHub.
Exposure to repository manager like Nexus and Jfrog artifactory
Expertise in CI/CD process implementation and tools such as Jenkins, Argo CD & XL Deploy
Hands on experience with Docker, Containers and OpenShift/Kubernetes
Strong Experience in Elasticsearch
Expert in one of the scripting languages: Unix Shell, Python & Golang
Knowledge on cloud platforms like AWS and Azure and IaC tools like Terraform is required.
Hands-on experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, EFK stack, Zabbix, etc.
Basic knowledge of Database SQL, NoSQL i.e. (Oracle, Postgress, MognoDb, MySqlDb, Redis etc.).
Strong communication skills and ability to explain protocol and processes
Others: Ansible, Helm, Kafka, SonarQube, JMeter, Fortify etc. is a big plus
