REQUIRED SKILLS:
The desired candidate has extensive programming experience and proven experience with full software development life cycle in lean and agile methodology in an enterprise context. The developer needs to be confident in object-oriented programming, Microservices and RESTful architecture pattern. Crucial skills include fluency in Perl, Python, Javascript, GraphQL, as well as proficiency with Postgres DB, Kubernetes, Istio, and ArgoCD. Experience in Ansible/AWX and Chef as well as the task management tools Celery and RabbitMQ is preferable. The developer must have profound knowledge of interacting with (Private) cloud providers such as HPE Greenlake, Dell APEX and Lenovo TrueScale. Mastery of source code maintenance, versioning tools (git), and CI/CD pipelines is essential. Experience in test-drive development and unit-test design is required.
The developer is expected to maintain a constructive, positive, polite and open style of communication while showing out of the box thinking, take initiative, agility, and flexibility in driving topics to resolution with a commitment towards quality and speed. The candidate should possess at least a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering and have 5 – 7 years of experience in software development and be proficient in the English language.
