Sr. Data Warehousing Engineer

Job Duties :

Under limited supervision, design, program, configure and implement complex data warehouse systems and provide support; responsible for full lifecycle implementation; act as SME; gather, interpret and analyze user needs and requirements; develop high level and detailed technical designs, including diagrams and flow charts using advanced theoretical knowledge; design, develop and coordinate ETL load strategies, update strategies, error processing, mapping dependencies, batch processing and balance control approaches; recommend and plan system installation and modification; provide impact analysis and effort estimation; design and customize logical and physical data models; develop and implement data extraction procedures from other systems; obtain limitations and capabilities for data processing; develop ETL interfaces to integrate master data into database; execute performance tuning and query optimization; develop test cases; track project progress and provide updates; coordinate installation; provide functional documentation and production support; coordinate troubleshooting; mentor/assist less experienced team members with the above, as necessary; and use the following tools: Windows, SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, DB2, SQL, PL/SQL, SSIS, Informatica, TOAD, Tableau, Clearcase, Autosys, VB.Net, XML, HTML, ASP, C#, CSS, and related tools.

Minimum Qualifications Education :

Master degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Computer or Electronics Engineering, or a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);

Experience  : Two (2) years of experience as a Software Developer, Systems Analyst, Data Warehousing Specialist or in a related occupation;

Other Requirements:

Experience must include two (2) years of work with Oracle, Teradata, Informatica, and Tableau; must be willing to relocate.
