Sr. Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and collect structured and unstructured data sets for analysis and reporting.
• Create reports, projections, models, and presentations to support business strategy and tactics.
• Begin to influence department’s strategy.
• Make decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction.
• Responsible for the extraction of data using SQL queries for the monthly Continuous Quality Improvements (CQI) reports.

Required Skills

• Strong teamwork and communication skill.
• Ability to write production-level code in Python.
• Good knowledge in Spark Core and Spark Streaming.
• Machine learning techniques and algorithms.
• Familiar with Predictive Analytics.
• Be able to Tableau, Kibana Git, Maven, Jenkins.
• Confident & able to Drive value via coordination with their team.

Required Experience

• Experience in using mathematics, statistics, modeling, business analysis, and technology to transform high volumes of complex data into advanced analytic solutions.
• Hands-on experience in building data science solutions and production-ready systems on big data platforms such as Snowflake, Spark, Hadoop.
• Experience in working with assignments that involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
• Good Python programming experience.
• Machine Learning Experience.
• Experience in developing, maintaining, and collecting structured and unstructured data sets for analysis and reporting.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field.
