We are looking for a Senior Cloud Network Automation Engineer (SME) with a strong background in network engineering and automation across Azure and GCP environments. The ideal candidate will have experience managing network infrastructure as code using GitHub, developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, and hands-on expertise in designing and building secure, scalable cloud networks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and automate cloud network infrastructure in Azure and GCP.
- Manage network infrastructure modules in GitHub using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for network deployment and validation using GitHub Actions.
- Lead automation efforts for the provisioning, configuration, and management of virtual networks, firewalls, gateways, and routing.
- Ensure secure and scalable connectivity across cloud and hybrid environments.
- Collaborate with cloud architects, security teams, and DevOps engineers to implement robust network automation solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide SME-level guidance to cross-functional teams.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of automated workflows and network topologies.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in network engineering and cloud networking.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure and GCP networking components (VNETs, VPCs, subnets, firewalls, NAT, routing, etc.).
- Proficient in network automation using Terraform, Python, or similar tools.
- Solid experience managing network IaC modules in GitHub.
- Expertise in creating and managing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
- In-depth understanding of network protocols, routing (BGP, OSPF), firewall policies, and DNS.
- Experience with cloud security best practices in networking.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as Google Professional Cloud Network Engineer, Azure Network Engineer Associate, or equivalent.
- Experience with cross-cloud network connectivity and hybrid networking.
- Familiarity with tools like Ansible, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps (in addition to GitHub Actions).
- Exposure to SD-WAN, SASE, or zero-trust networking models.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field.
