Description

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Network Automation Engineer (SME) with a strong background in network engineering and automation across Azure and GCP environments. The ideal candidate will have experience managing network infrastructure as code using GitHub, developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, and hands-on expertise in designing and building secure, scalable cloud networks.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and automate cloud network infrastructure in Azure and GCP.
  • Manage network infrastructure modules in GitHub using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for network deployment and validation using GitHub Actions.
  • Lead automation efforts for the provisioning, configuration, and management of virtual networks, firewalls, gateways, and routing.
  • Ensure secure and scalable connectivity across cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Collaborate with cloud architects, security teams, and DevOps engineers to implement robust network automation solutions.
  • Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide SME-level guidance to cross-functional teams.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of automated workflows and network topologies.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in network engineering and cloud networking.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure and GCP networking components (VNETs, VPCs, subnets, firewalls, NAT, routing, etc.).
  • Proficient in network automation using Terraform, Python, or similar tools.
  • Solid experience managing network IaC modules in GitHub.
  • Expertise in creating and managing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
  • In-depth understanding of network protocolsrouting (BGP, OSPF)firewall policies, and DNS.
  • Experience with cloud security best practices in networking.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as Google Professional Cloud Network EngineerAzure Network Engineer Associate, or equivalent.
  • Experience with cross-cloud network connectivity and hybrid networking.
  • Familiarity with tools like Ansible, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps (in addition to GitHub Actions).
  • Exposure to SD-WAN, SASE, or zero-trust networking models.

   

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field.
