Key Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic discovery sessions to understand client objectives, business processes, and technology environments.
  • Translate business needs into high-impact requirements, user stories, and business cases aligned with value-based outcomes.
  • Influence and align cross-functional stakeholders—internal, partner (where applicable), and customer—on business goals, scope, priorities, and timelines.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation including business process flows, requirements traceability matrices, and solution maps.
  • Guide teams through solution design, ensuring business alignment and technical feasibility.
  • Partner closely with project and delivery leadership to ensure value realization, scope management, risk mitigation, and budget adherence.
  • Drive and facilitate Agile ceremonies and delivery activities—standups, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and demos—when needed.
  • Partner with Solution Owners to ensure team activities are traceable to discernible technical outputs, clearly defined Stories and Epics, and ultimately to measurable customer-focused Outcomes.
  • Coach and mentor junior Business Analysts to elevate the overall capability maturity of the team.
  • Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks, and lead their resolution across stakeholder groups.
  • Contribute to practice development by refining frameworks, templates, and reusable assets.
  • Stay current on industry trends, tools, and delivery approaches to continually improve consulting effectiveness.

Required Qualifications and Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
  • 5-7 years of industry experience with 3-5 years as a Business Analyst or a Solution Owner on complex technology initiatives
  • Proven expertise in both traditional (Waterfall) and modern (Agile/Scrum/Kanban) delivery methodologies.
  • Strong proficiency with Confluence, Jira, Lucid Charts, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, SharePoint).
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including product owners, architects, developers, QA, and executive sponsors.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, client-facing consulting environment.
  • Experience at a leading business or technology consulting organization, with expertise in customer conversations and executive presence

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to link business strategy to technical execution.
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working in enterprise-scale environments across multiple business domains (Finance, Healthcare, Public Sector, etc.).
  • Ability to conduct root-cause analysis, process modeling, and business case development.
  • Familiarity with advanced toolsets like Smartsheet, Trello, Teamwork, and Zoho is a plus.
  • Experience in mentoring and coaching junior analysts.
  • A growth mindset with a strong desire to stay current on emerging technologies and industry trends.
