Sr. BI engineer

  To have experience SSAS - cube development
·        They have mentioned in resume but don't have actual experience
·        Thousands of users in this space in cube development - most of the candidates are lacking this
·        People hired - three onboarded
o   two of them are highly skilled at the cube development and working on performance improvement right away
o   One other mainly focused on PowerBI and performance improvement
·        Data models in data warehouse? Getting data from data warehouse and might be getting data from databricks. Will put them into cube
·        DAX for quering, not MDX
·        Data pipelining elements, doing ETL solutions? The don't need to do this since the data engineers and the BI engineers are in charge of the ETL - Just need to have some understanding
·        Architecture - High-level architecture already defined, working under this architecture
·        They are the centralized BI team. Two capacity: 1) develop reporting across the company 2) they own the infrastructure that users are using - they have to maintain this infrastructure - might have to work with different operational data from different divisions/teams
·        She is getting a lot of data engineers versus BI enigneers
Pure SSAS dev or need powerBI as well
