Sr AWS Architect

Responsibilities:

1. Architect and implement secure, scalable, and cost-effective solutions on AWS. 
2. Leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation, to automate the provisioning and management of AWS services. 
3. Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for the deployment of applications. 
4. Advise on architectural decisions and design to optimize for performance, cost, and scalability. 
5. Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure solutions align with company objectives.

Requirements:

1. 7+ years of experience designing, operating, and supporting large-scale systems on AWS. 
2. Proficiency in writing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform. 
3. Extensive experience building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, preferably with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline. 
4. Experience with containerization technologies and container orchestrators like Docker, Kubernetes, or AWS EKS. 
5. Knowledge of observability tools (like Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic, ELK stack, etc.) and monitoring best practices. 
6. Experience operating infrastructure at scale with high-traffic web applications or big data applications. 
7. Familiarity with microservice-based application architectures. 
8. Strong knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, EKS, Lambda, and CloudWatch. 
9. Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Packer, Vault, or Consul. 
10. AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or equivalent is highly preferred.
