SQL Specialist (Contractor – 1 Month)

Onsite requirements: 3-4 days a week onsite in NYC 

Our Sigma RV team is seeking a short-term SQL Specialist Contractor to join our London office. This role will support our efforts to improve the speed and stability of existing SQL databases, a critical component of our operational infrastructure. This position is ideal for someone with a strong grasp of SQL fundamentals who is eager to make an immediate impact in a fast-paced environment. You’ll report directly to a senior team member and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot SQL performance issues and instability

• Implement basic performance enhancements and indexing fixes

• Analyze database bottlenecks and suggest improvements

• Document and communicate findings with internal stakeholders

• Work independently to manage and complete short-term priorities

• Proficiency with SQL and experience in performance tuning

• Demonstrated ability to identify and fix slow queries and indexing inefficiencies

• Hands-on troubleshooting experience in production environments

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and deliver within tight timeframes
