SQL Server Database Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team. This role is critical in managing and maintaining our organization's database systems to ensure availability, performance, security, and integrity. The ideal candidate will have experience in database administration, troubleshooting production issues, and handling on-call responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Database Management: Ensure the availability, performance, and security of SQL Server databases.
• Performance Tuning: Monitor database performance and optimize queries and indexes for efficiency.
• Production Support: Provide nightly support for production issues, including being on-call every third month from 12:00 AM to 9:00 AM.
• Batch Job Monitoring: Handle on-call batch jobs and resolve any related issues efficiently.
• Backup and Recovery: Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Database Security: Maintain database integrity and security, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development and infrastructure teams to support database-related activities and troubleshoot issues
