Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, implement, and administer all databases for the respective parties involved.
  • Manage SQL Server installations and high availability configurations, including patching and troubleshooting.
  • Perform SQL Server upgrades and ensure optimal database performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database issues including performance tuning, capacity planning, blocking/locking/deadlocks, memory pressure, CPU, I/O latency, and capacity management.
  • Implement and maintain High Availability and Disaster Recovery (HADR) solutions using Always On, Mirroring, and Replication.
  • Analyze and report performance of database operations against key database performance metrics.
  • Use Database Diagnostic & Compliance Management tools for troubleshooting and monitoring.
  • Execute and manage database backup and recovery strategies.
  • Optimize stored procedures and query performance to improve execution plans and ensure faster application response times.

Experience Requirement:

  • 6-12 years of experience with MS SQL Server 2008/2008 R2/2012/2014/2016/2017/2019.
  • Experience with SQL Server 2016 & 2017.
  • Expertise in high availability configurations, SQL Server upgrades, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
  • Proven experience in implementing and supporting HADR solutions including Always On, Mirroring, and Replication.
  • Solid experience in database backup/recovery and performance monitoring tools.

Education:  Any Post Graduation, Any Graduation
