Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions to support business and clinical / healthcare data needs.
  • Work closely with data analysts, report developers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver accurate, efficient data solutions.
  • Optimize and troubleshoot existing SQL code and queries to improve performance and reliability.
  • Maintain data integrity and ensure proper data governance in alignment with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes to support data integration across systems.
  • Document data models, workflows, and processes for internal use and compliance.
  • Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams on database architecture, data warehousing, and analytics initiatives.

• Analyze technical and general business problems and issues using and managing data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers.
• Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with primarily co-workers, management, and internal customers.

Qualifications:
Required:

  • 3+ years of experience in SQL development, preferably in a healthcare environment.
  • Strong knowledge of T-SQL, query optimization, and relational database design (SQL Server.
  • Advanced proficiency in T-SQL, stored procedures, views, joins, temp tables, common table expressions, dynamic queries.
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR, ICD-10, CPT).
