SQL DEVELOPER

Job Description

We are looking for 8+ years experienced Applications Developer with excellent SQL Server Programming skills to join our Application Development team for a client of Cognizant. The ideal candidate will have TSQL skills and the experience and desire to become a core member of the development team and play a key role in the success of the project.

At least 8 years of application development experience

• Strong technical knowledge 8+ years of experience in Microsoft .SQL Server

• Expertise in writing/debugging complex stored procedures

• Knowledge on SQL Server Service broker is a plus

• Knowledge on SSIS is a plus

• Knowledge on ASP is a plus

• Strong TSQL fundamentals, design database schemas, Backup/Restore Databases, etc

• Experience of working in geographically distributed and culturally diverse work-groups with strong team play and collaborative skills

• Experience with projects in multiple technologies and functions.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Proven experience in building scalable and robust applications
