SQL Database Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SQL Database Developer with a strong background in the insurance domain. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Oracle and SQL, and will be proficient in writing complex stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views using PL/SQL. As a SQL Database Developer, will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing complex SQL queries and stored procedures to ensure efficient and accurate data management within our insurance systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and optimize complex stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views in Oracle/SQL to meet business requirements in the insurance domain.

Work closely with business analysts and other stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective database solutions.

Optimize and fine-tune existing stored procedures and SQL queries to improve performance and reduce system load.

Implement database designs that ensure data integrity, security, and reliability for insurance-related applications.

Perform data analysis and data extraction tasks from large-scale databases, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Create and maintain technical documentation related to database development, schema design, and query optimization.

Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues, errors, and data-related concerns in a timely manner.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, quality assurance, and project managers, to ensure seamless integration and deployment of database solutions.
