SQL Database Administrator

Job Duties :

Experience in SQL Environment from SQL 2000/2005/2008/2012/2014/2016,installation and configuring SQL Server.
Involves 24/7 Support and On-call Support round the clock for migration and monthly rotation for On Call.
Working on SQL deployments and monthly releases of application code and code reviews for the deployments for every week
Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
Experience with backups, restores and recovery models.
Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server.
Experience working with Windows server, including Active Directory.
Experience with IIS server (WINDOWS SERVER MUST)
Upgrading SQL server software to new versions and applying service packs and patches.
Good Knowledge of using VMware Servers.
Experience in providing excellent 24X7 Production support.
Experience in contacting Microsoft for product and technical support
Migration of Data from Excel, Flat file, Oracle to MS SQL Server by using SSIS, BCP and DTS utility.

Tools :
MS SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), MS SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Data Transformation Services(DTS), SQL Server Management studio (SSMS), Enterprise Manager, SQL Query Analyzer,

Minimum Requirements

Education :

Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);

Experience  : One (1) year of experience as a Software Developer, Systems Analyst, Programmer, or in a related occupation;

Other Requirements :

Experience must include work with SQL Server, WebServices, LINQ, WCF, .NET Framework and C#; job may require relocation within the U.S.; must be willing to relocate
