Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Install, configure, maintain, and monitor SQL Server databases (on-prem and/or cloud-based)
Ensure high availability, performance tuning, and optimization of database systems
Perform regular database maintenance, backups, restores, and disaster recovery planning
Support ERP systems by managing data integrations, troubleshooting performance issues, and working closely with application teams
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and recommend solutions
Implement and maintain database security, including user access and permissions
Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and views
Maintain documentation for database configurations, processes, and change management
Qualifications:
3–5+ years of experience as a SQL DBA in a production environment
Hands-on experience supporting ERP systems (e.g., Epicor, Dynamics, Infor, SAP, etc.)
Experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of database performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing
Proficient in T-SQL, backups, replication, and disaster recovery strategies
Familiarity with SSRS/SSIS or other reporting/integration tools
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams
