Description

Responsibilities

  • Perform functional and regression testing (Including mobile applications & mobile sites)
  • Develop and maintain test scripts
  • Detect software quality issues, report and track them to resolution
  • Participate in the testing of production emergency bug fixes
  • Establish automation (Regression) test strategies and requirements, planning and procedures
  • Proactively develop innovative methods to improve quality, test coverage, efficiency and regression coverage thru automation for projects
  • Serves as a contact for input and interpretation of issues that impact product performance and system stability
  • Collaborate with other teams to understand and validate configuration settings
  • Ensure optimal product performance, scalability and availability for production environments
  • Create, review, update and execute automation scripts as required
  • Assist in post-implementation and continuous improvement efforts to enhance systems and applications
  • Identify product perforlimance issues during new product development
  • Keep current on product trends and technology innovations
  • Make detailed recommendations concerning new products, methods and technologies that will enhance test efficiencies Perform on-demand testing as requested

Requirements

  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Three plus years' experience with quality assurance methodologies
  • Three plus years’ experience with web-based applications
  • Three plus years’ experience analyzing system and application failures and bugs
  • Three plus years’ experience in automated testing
  • Experience in test automation tools is required
  • Experienced with iOS and Android testing methodologies
  • Skilled in automated mobile test tools (Monkey Talk, Robotium)
  • Comfortable working with mobile unit testing frameworks (Junit, GHUnit)
  • Comfortable working with Javascript and Objective C
  • Comfortable working with XML, Web Services, .Net and SQL
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration methodologies and tools (Jenkins)
  • Develop and implement procedures for automated testing
  • Ability to write, debug and maintain test scripts
  • Comfortable with web servers, application servers, relational database technologies and network components
  • Experience in requirements and specifications reviews
  • Experience in mobile application testing (devices & simulators)
