Job Description:
Strong understanding of SPLUNK development practices and patterns on Splunk cloud.
Experience in on-boarding applications in Splunk that involves log ingestion, database query and development of transaction stitching by adding key field extraction, lookup, macros and saved searches
Well versed in Splunk dashboards and alerts creation
Strong hands-on experience on ITSI and Splunk data ingestion patterns using DBX, JMS-MQ, UF, files, HEC, etc.
Strong knowledge of Splunk infra components i.e Splunk indexer, universal forwarder, heavy forward, search head clusters, Cluster Master, deployment servers, etc
Strong programming skills in CSS, Javascripts, Java, Python scripting
