Description

Responsibilities

  • Code and test of Spark application written in Spark Sql Implementation & support of the code base.
  • Fine tuning and performance optimization of Spark code base.
  • Build efficient back-end features in Python.
  • Integrate front-end components into applications Python.

Required Skills

  • Knowledge on Azure, Databricks
  • Should have skills in ETL Processing, Airflow.
  • Good exposure on advances SQL execution and performance tuning.
  • Self-starter and collaborate with other teams (inside and outside of development).
  • Enthusiasm for learning, collaboration and mentorship.

Required Experience

  • Have experience interacting with business stakeholders and customers directly to get direction and confirm we’re building useful software.
  • Experience with Scaled Agile Framework is a plus.
  • Experience building SaaS applications using domain-driven, event-driven and microservices architectures.
  • Experience working with SRE engineers on application logging, monitoring, alerting and security.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field.
