We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Recruiter to join our HR team. The IT Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring top talent in the field of information technology to meet the staffing needs of our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT roles and technologies, as well as experience in recruitment processes.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies for IT positions.
- Source potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and referrals.
- Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates based on job requirements, skills, and experience.
- Conduct phone and in-person interviews to assess candidates' technical skills, qualifications, and fit for the role and company culture.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to hiring managers on candidates' suitability for specific roles.
- Negotiate and extend job offers to selected candidates, including discussing compensation, benefits, and other terms of employment.
- Collaborate with HR colleagues to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires.
- Build and maintain a talent pipeline for future staffing needs through proactive sourcing and networking efforts.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in IT recruitment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably with a focus on IT positions.
- Strong understanding of IT roles, technologies, and technical skills required for various positions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with candidates, hiring managers, and colleagues.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Certification in HR or recruitment (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP, AIRS) is a plus.
